Williamsburg is
the nation's largest outdoor history museum. It is a completely
re-constructed colonial town which features many original
buildings from the early 1700's, colonial homes, American
history exhibits, live demonstrations, shops, and hundreds
of people in colonial dress. It is also home to the Colleges
of William and Mary, one of the oldest institutes of higher
learning in America.
