Parents need to know that this entertaining website features a wide array of educational games and activities to help reinforce what is taught in school. Elementary aged students will find fun interactive games that hone math, science, language arts, and social studies skills. An easy-to-follow color-coding system helps visitors determine which games and activities are appropriate for their age and grade level, and most games are customizable by skill level or they progress from easy to harder rounds.
There’s a whole lot of learning to be done here, and visitors will find value in the site’s obvious enthusiasm and endless educational creativity.

I’m ranking Brainpop’s U.S. History Movies at number two. You have to pay for student access, but it’s well worth the price, especially since they began to close-caption their animations this school year.
And now, my pick as the number one Website For Teaching & Learning About U.S. History is….Mr. Nussbaum. There are tons of resources, interactives, and games there that will engage students. |

| MrNussbaum.com offers multiplication drills, seven Flash games, several worksheet generators and a unique interactive activity called Draggable Multiplication. Draggable Multiplication is a grid with multiplication problems to solve step-by-step by dragging answers onto the interactive workspace, working each step of a multiple-digit multiplication problem as you would with paper and pencil. “The program locks the numbers into place, which is helpful for students who have trouble keeping numbers organized.” |

| If you’re struggling with finding a good activity to reinforce fraction equivalency, or feel your students just need some extra practice with visualizing fractions, order up a slice of Tony Fraction’s Pizza Game. I have to thank the fine educators over at Harry F. Byrd Middle School in Henrico County Virginia for sharing this website on their “Links Blog.” While I usually post a site like this on the forum, or just to the Fresh Links, I couldn’t resist sharing it with a wider audience. |

| Billing itself as a resource for K-8 students, this *INCREDIBLE* website has engaging interactive activities in a variety of areas in math, language arts, science and social studies. You won’t believe the interactivity and activity design. The entire site is even color-coded by grade level. But wait, there’s more |

| WOW!!! I have been a teacher for the last 10 years, and lately I have just been getting frustrated with all the garbage the kids want to "play" with on the internet. I decided to search around and look for something new tonight and bumped into your site. I just had to write and say WOW!!! I am so incredibly impressed!! As soon as I find one thing I love, I try something else and love that even more! I can not wait to get my kids on your site on Monday morning! Thank you for finally making something fun AND useful for us!!!!! |

I would like to thank you for your hard work. My son was having a problem understanding the flow of battles and key dates and engagements in the Revolutionary War and we found a great resource in your website. My husband located it through a Google search. Since then, my son and I have read through most of the material associated with it and he went from fragmented understanding to a "B" on his test. Given we only found your website yesterday afternoon, that was quite an improvement.
I love to find other sources of information for my kids to review so that they have the experience of not trusting only one source but reviewing information from several and getting a picture of events that has more depth.
Your website has made our favorites list!! |

I have been using your web site since its inception, and my students find it education and fun to use. Since I work in an inner city school, your website has made teaching quite the basic skills quite a bit easier. I have always wondered what program you use to create these games? I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank You again for all you have done to make learning interesting for our children! |
