Why
should I register?
For
the student:
Students
in grades 1-8 absolutely love using the premium site of
MrNussbaum.com. They can participate in in-class tournaments
on any of twenty three games on available on the premium
site, or, they can work as a class and battle other classes
from around the world! Furthermore, students receive immediate
feedback from any activity completed including quizzes,
spelling tests, and games. Students can chart their own
progress on a wide range of skills by viewing the statistics
from their "recorded scores" section. Students
love the teacher-enabled in-class messaging system and poll
sections. Their favorite part, however, is earning world
flags. For every five games a student plays on the premium
site, he or she earns a world flag image in the "flags"
section of their student account. The ultimate object is
to earn flag representing each country in the world. The
best part, is that students can trade these flags with other
students registered in their class by their teacher.
For
the teacher
The
Premium section of MrNussbaum.com can make the computer
lab an enjoyable, efficient, and informational experience.
Just about everything, and more, can be conducted from the
teacher account of MrNussbaum.com Premium. As a teacher,
you have complete control of your students' experiences
on the site. You can create and deploy quizzes in four different
formats, and results are sent, sorted, and compiled to your
gradebook in the "Recorded Scores" sections of
the site. You can create and deploy online tournaments for
your class (like the NCAA Basketball tournament), or, you
can challenge other classes from around the world in an
inter-class tournament on any of the 23 available educational
games. In addition, you can create and deploy spelling tests,
homework assignment sheets, events calendars, and internet
bookmarks. For the Teacher panel, you can send messages
to any of your students, and you can disable or enable the
student-to-student messaging and polls system. As of April
1, there will be no more ADS on the Premium site.

however, only include the online games, recorded scores,
and flags sections and do not include the ability to make
quizzes, message boards, messaging systems, events calendars,
homework sheets, tournaments and more. Homeschoolers and
parents are welcome to sign up for the home subscription,
or, the teacher subscription. Users registering for the
home subscription can use it immediately after registration.
