It's hard to
believe that school has started throughout much of the United
States. As the summer flew by, I was hard at work thinking
of new, engaging activities for students! Below is a list
of what is new with me and what is new with the site:
What's new with
Mr.Nussbaum?
On
August 14, I turned 32 years old
On August 21,
Mr. and Mrs. Nussbaum moved into a new house in Loudoun
County, Virginia
On August 27,
I started my 9th year in Fairfax County Public Schools and
my third at White Oaks Elementary. This year I am teaching
fifth grade and am moving up with the same group of students
for the third consecutive year. See kids, I am real!

Over the summer,
we developed three new games, Decimals
of the Caribbean, Insect
Generator, and Genius Boxing.
In September, I will be coming out with my first (and probably
only) non-educational game (though it fits with the insects
section) called Swarm, in which students play the role of
a swarm of horrible locusts.
