Range: The Carolina Wren is a familiar backyard visitor to many bird watchers in the eastern United States. Formerly a bird of southeastern brushlands and thickets, the Carolina Wren has expanded its range northwards in recent years, and may even be found in southern New England. Nevertheless, the Carolina Wren is restricted to the eastern United States, and doesn't even range westward to the Rocky Mountains.
