You're the cashier at this crazy store. You need to give change to the customers buying things. Try to sell as many items as possible before the time runs out. First select game play options, then read the word problem and find out how much money you owe. Click on the coins and bills to make the correct change. For example, if you owe the customer $0.77, click on the quarter three times and click on the penny two times.

Tony Fraction's Pizza Shop, my most popular game, is now available for the ipad, ipod, and iphone for $0.99. See how much money you can make in five minutes by using your equivalent fraction skills to fill your customer pizza orders. Be careful, though, your customers are a picky bunch and expect their toppings to be applied according to their odd fractional specifications. If you apply them incorrectly, expect to pay a stiff penalty.

Just like the Flash version on MrNussbaum.com, DragNDrop Math allows students to complete any addition, multiplication, subtraction, or division problem just like they would with paper and a pencil. DragNDrop Math is perfect for students who have trouble keeping numbers organized in large problems, as my unique drag and drop system allows students to seamlessly drag numbers into place. Math problems can be customized to allow the user to choose the number of problems and number of digits in each number for each problem. Users can also choose to work on graph "paper", lined "paper" or blank space. Users can input their own problems. Of course, the program checks to see whether or not the answer is correct and allows students to go back and try incorrect problems again.

Do the
advertisements on MrNussbaum.com become annoying?
I think they are; but unfortunately the advertisements
are what monetizes educational sites like this one
and many others. In the absence of grants, government
funding, or corporate sponsorships, displaying the
advertisements keeps the site running by ensuring
a cash flow. The money generated by the advertisements
pays for server costs, development costs, technology
costs, and for the countless hours spent working on
the site. Although you see many corporate ads appear
on the pages of this site, most of those companies
DO NOT directly advertise with me; rather their ads
are delivered to my site by third-party advertising
firms who keep a generous portion of payment as part
of their own fees.
In 2009, MrNussbaum No Ads was launched. The site is identical to MrNussbaum.com, just without the distraction of advertisements. Schools, districts, and families that purchase the site get their own url, user name, and password to access the site. A site license includes unlimited log ins at the purchasing school, and at the homes of their teachers and students.
As of August 2011, the current price of a school subscription to MrNussbaum No Ads for one year is $325.00. The price allows unlimited log-ins in all classrooms and the computer lab.
As of August 2011, the current price of a single classroom, or, home subscription to MrNussbaum No Ads is $75.00 per year.
